![]() ![]() The internal speakers sound OK, but an external amp is much preferable, as with any keyboard. I repaired the connection on the LCD screen, and it is now fully functional as well. The mechanical aspects of the keybed are flawless, so I think it was just some dirty connections. I opened it up, removed and cleaned the entire keybed and all its contacts, so the response is now great on every key. When I purchased this keyboard, several keys in the lower register didn't function, and the LCD screen was inoperable. On the front of the unit is a 1/4" headphone jack which bypasses the internal speakers. On the back of the unit is a fine-tuning knob (see photos), MIDI in/out/thru connections, L/R instrument output, external L/R instrument output (I assume bypasses the internal speakers), two pedal connections, and an AC power connection. There are two tone wheels (pitch bend and modulation), a volume fader and a transpose fader. Additionally, each sound can be tweaked in different combinations by activating/deactiving chorus, tremolo, and vibrato effects. The pianos sound great, and the "waveshapes" bank has some truly craptastic "80s" synth sounds. There are 10 different sound banks, with 10 tones in each. Included is the keyboard itself and an AC power cable. This is a vintage keyboard from Kurzweil, fully functional and in very good cosmetic condition. ![]()
